Compassionate Listening:
Healing Our World from the Inside Out
Two-day workshops with Leah Green,
director, Compassionate Listening Project
From the participants:
"I've been to hundreds of workshops in my life and I count this as among the best!"
"The love, laughter, honor and appreciation, the vulnerability, the
contribution that each of us so grandly made was no accident. It
flowered by the commitment and grace and space that Leah provided, and I am
deeply appreciative (and in awe, I must admit) that she did that --
and with such backbone, courage, affinity and delicacy."
"This was a great workshop! I learned a lot, feel more self-confident and am able to communicate more lovingly. Leah is an excellent trainer."

Compassionate Listening is a powerful tool for reconciliation which can bring new insight and be deeply healing for both those listened to and the listener. It can serve you in all aspects of your life - from personal to professional. Compassionate Listening can also strengthen and transform your peace-making work. (Compassionate Listening was developed by longtime Fellowship of Reconciliation activist and Quaker, Gene Knudsen Hoffman.)
This two-night residential workshop will focus on the fundamentals of Compassionate Listening and provide the skills and practice necessary to bring this technique into your daily life. Compassionate Listening fosters peacefulness, courage, reconcilation and healing.
Together we will create a trusting circle and begin to experience the transformative power of Compassionate Listening.
Leah Green is founder and director of MidEast Citizen Diplomacy (a non-profit organization) and the Compassionate Listening Project. She holds masters degrees in Public Policy and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Washington.
